Why Giclée?

  • Archival pigment inks — significantly more light-stable than dye-based inks used in standard commercial printing
  • Museum-grade fine art papers — designed for long-term display, not disposable output
  • Premium tactile surface — heavyweight papers that provide a rich texture and substantial, gallery-quality feel
  • Exceptional color accuracy — precise color relationships and smooth tonal transitions
  • High image resolution — ultra-fine ink droplets and high-resolution output preserve fine detail and edge clarity
  • Greater tonal depth — richer shadows and subtle highlight detail
  • Proven longevity — designed to last for centuries under proper display conditions

Will your print fade?

Based on independent accelerated aging research by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc., even unglazed display under extreme UV conditions shows 30+ years before noticeable fading, while UV-protective glazing or shelf storage can extend display life to 100+ years when additional protection is required.
