About Us

Vincent’s Light Fine Art Studio is the shared painting practice of artists Zhongda and Yingzhi, exploring light, texture, memory, and emotional connection through contemporary painting.

Their work is characterized by luminous colour, expressive brushwork, and richly layered impasto surfaces. Drawing inspiration from the changing light of the Okanagan, as well as animals, nature, companionship, and everyday moments, their paintings seek to capture not only the appearance of a subject, but also its atmosphere and emotional presence.

Working under a shared artistic identity, Zhongda and Yingzhi bring together a strong focus on composition and visual storytelling with a distinctive sensitivity to texture and painterly depth. Through this collaborative practice, Vincent’s Light transforms familiar subjects into expressive, tactile paintings that celebrate warmth, connection, and the beauty of remembered moments.

Where Vincent’s Light Began

Inspired by the beauty of Okanagan Lake at night, this painting became the foundation of Vincent’s Light.

It established the themes that continue to guide our work today — light, atmosphere, reflection, and the connection between people and place.

The Launch of Palette & Plate

The launch of Palette & Plate marked a new chapter for Vincent’s Light.

For the first time, our original paintings were transformed into collectible objects designed for everyday use.
